Open Positions

Quality Assurance Inspector

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for receiving inspection of vendor products, in-process audits, product audits, and final assembly inspection. Additional responsibilities include the completion and maintenance of associated documents, forms, and records.  This position is physically located in our Lafayette, Indiana facility. 

Responsibilities:
• Inspection of incoming components and assemblies using visual techniques, variable and attribute gauging including but not limited to micrometers, calipers, gauge pins, and specialized mechanical inspection equipment including but not limited to height gauges, surface plates, and optical magnifiers.

• Perform Roving Audits per Quality Document 9908023 (Roving Inspection / Audit). This is the systematic monitoring and evaluation of the various aspects of a process to maximize the probability that minimum standards of quality are being attained. This includes identifying problems and training operators to better understand how to produce a quality product.

• Inspection of in-process components and sub-assemblies using visual techniques, variable and attribute gauging including but not limited to micrometers, calipers, gauge pins, and specialized mechanical inspection equipment including but not limited to height gauges, surface plates, and optical magnifiers.

• Inspection of final product prior to product being released for shipping to the customer.

• Work with quality management, production, and engineering to define inspection, test, and measurement methods for individual components, sub-assemblies, and completed product.

• Record and maintain all nonconforming information for parts and assemblies and maintain control over the nonconforming material quarantine area.

• Complete and maintain associated records of inspection in both paper and electronic form.

• File and maintain controlled copies of prints and inspection documents for use by inspection and floor personnel.

• Perform various types of soldering: Hand, Wave, Dip and Surface mount.

• Work in other departments when needed. Perform housekeeping functions when required. Any other miscellaneous duties assigned.

Education:

High School Graduate or G.E.D.

Experience:

• 2 - 4 years in electronic PCB manufacturing operations
• 2 years of visual component and solder quality inspection
• 0 - 3 years in basic mechanical inspection operations.

Skilled at:

• Dimensional inspection using variable and attribute gauges
• Visual inspection using optical magnifiers
• Interpreting technical assembly documentation
• Technical mathematics including basic algebra, geometry and trigonometry
• Understanding tolerance concepts and calculations
• Detailed attention to work

Knowledge of:

• IPC workmanship standards for solder, surface mount and thru-hole components
• Electronics applications

Senior Electrical Engineer - Innovation and System Integration

Position Summary:

The Senior Electrical Engineer - Innovation and System Integration position is a hands-on development engineering position within the RADIAN Innovate business model and the Ideas to Innovation (I2I) development process requiring vast engineering knowledge and rapid prototyping ability. They work closely with Product Management, Field Sales and the Customer to define, develop and deliver a testing solution. They are a highly skilled systems integrator able to apply the necessary technology blocks to form a product solution to meet Customer needs in a timely manner. The technology blocks may be from a variety of existing products or they may be under development by other engineers of which the Senior Electrical Engineer - Innovation and System Integration integrates into a solution to fit the application. They develop and implement scalable technology architectures. They devise possible solutions to predicted problems, evaluating other options including risk identification, working as part of a team, which may be established purely for a particular project. They analyze customer needs and develop an overall concept and designs with an eye to performance, architecture, safety, security and scalability. From time to time, as needed, engineers and technicians from the R&D Team may be assigned to work with the Senior Electrical Engineer - Innovation and System Integration on a given project. And, from time to time the Senior Electrical Engineer - Innovation and System Integration may be assigned to work with the R&D Team on a given project. 

Responsibilities:

1) Communicate effectively to all relevant team members.
2) Conduct Technical feasibility requirements analysis on relevant technologies for proposed use in future developments.
3) Create development plans, strategies and proposed architectures for solutions that are scalable.
4) Support internal research and development teams to develop firmware, software and hardware frameworks.
5) Conduct peer design reviews for quality, performance, standard adherence and requirement satisfaction.
6) Articulate the benefits and decisions in proposing and selecting architectures or technical design solutions.
7) Contribute to directing the design and development of high reliability analog, digital and software systems.
8) The Senior Electrical Engineer - Innovation and System Integration position emphasizes ‘systems thinking’ throughout the product life cycle and assures program plans are developed and coordinated across the product line.
9) Identifies trendsetter innovative ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
10) From time to time support technical proposal development for new business opportunities.

Education:

BS Electrical Engineering required (BS Physics considered). Additional BS in Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science is a plus and MS EE is a plus.

Experience:

Minimum of 10 years total experience in development engineering with experience as a project leader desired. Experience with analog, digital, firmware and software engineering is desired.  

Skilled at:

Oral and written communications, working collaboratively, effectively interfacing with all levels of the organizational chart. Leadership abilities to provide guidance to Project Engineers, Development Engineers, Product Managers and Customer Support team.

Position location:

This person may be based at the Pearl, MS or Lafayette, IN facility with Pearl being the first choice. Whichever facility is the primary location, periodic travel will be expected to the other facility.

Position Overview

Leads marketing and cross-functional teams to plan, coordinate and execute marketing strategies, campaigns and events to promote the RADIAN Brand and Offering. Reports to the Director of Marketing and is based at RADIAN headquarters in Lafayette, IN. 

Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning and Execution
• Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing events, including trade shows, conferences,
and promotional campaigns.
• Manage event logistics, including event registration, venue selection for RADIAN events,
vendor management, budgeting, shipping, and scheduling.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful event
execution.
• Monitor event success metrics, collect feedback, and make recommendations for future
improvements.

Website Management
• Continuously refine and update the company website to reflect RADIAN’s current
branding, product information, and marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with the web designer to implement website enhancements and optimize
the user experience.
• Monitor website analytics and report metrics to establish a cadence for site
optimization.

Strategic Marketing Campaigns
• Develop and execute strategic marketing campaigns to target specific audiences and
achieve business objectives.
• Work closely with content creators to craft compelling marketing messages and ensure
consistency across various channels, including print, display, website, and social media.
• Monitor campaign performance, analyze metrics, and make data-driven suggestions to
leverage the website.

Sales Team Enablement and Support
• Provide sales teams with effective, branded, and consistent marketing tools, collateral,
and support materials to support their sales efforts.
• Collaborate with sales leaders to develop sales enablement resources, including
presentations, product guides, and competitive analyses.
• Conduct training sessions to educate sales teams on new marketing initiatives and
