Solutions Engineer – RADIAN Innovate

Position Summary:

The Solutions Engineer of RADIAN Innovate is a hands-on development engineering position within the RADIAN Innovate business model and the Ideas to Innovation (I2I) development process requiring vast engineering knowledge and rapid prototyping ability. The Solutions Engineer works closely with Product Management, Field Sales and the Customer to define, develop and deliver a testing solution. The Solutions Engineer is a highly skilled systems integrator able to apply the necessary technology blocks to form a product solution to meet Customer needs in a timely manner. The technology blocks may be from a variety of existing products or they may be under development by other engineers of which the Solutions Engineer integrates into a solution to fit the application. The Solutions Engineer develops and implements scalable technology architectures. The Solutions Engineer devises possible solutions to predicted problems, evaluating other options including risk identification, working as part of a team, which may be established purely for a particular project. The Solutions Engineer analyzes customer needs and develops an overall concept and designs with an eye to performance, architecture, safety, security and scalability. From time to time, as needed, engineers and technicians from the R&D Team may be assigned to work with the Solutions Engineer on a given project. Software Developer

Position Summary:

Work independently and as a team using the C# (or other, as applicable) programming language to develop and maintain new and existing software applications. Take direction and collaborate with peers, project team members, and Customers to develop the best software solutions.  This position is physically located in our Pearl, Mississippi facility. 

Responsibilities:

- Develop an understanding of Radian WECO product requirements, including the different

Electronics Technician

The Customer Experience Team works collaboratively to serve as a back-up to one another; and, therefore, perform all Sales Support and Service administrative responsibilities, as needed and applicable.

Hardware Design and Test Engineer I2I

Position Summary:

This position involves all aspects of researching, designing, simulating, and testing analog and digital parts, circuits and systems for measurement and testing equipment. The successful candidate will complete tasks in Radian’s New Product Development (NPD) process from initial concepts through production release. They will provide ideas for future product enhancements and provide support for existing products and product lines.  This position is physically located in our Lafayette, Indiana facility. 

Responsibilities:

- Participate on cross-functional and interdepartmental teams to develop new products.
- Produce production documentation for internal production, contract manufacturing
    and/or vendor outsourcing.
- Design, build, prototype, and test new and existing technology for functional
    and economic application in new and existing products.
- Support and design improvements for existing products.
- Contribute to new product development with a focus on design and testing of
    assemblies, subassemblies, electronic circuits including and not limited to data acquisition,
    AC/DC power, serial interface and communication, signal conditioning, level shifting, small
    signal, power electronics, transient protection, and microcontroller/FPGA/DSP interfaces.
- Selects, evaluates, and qualifies components.
- Contributes to system test specifications including, functional requirements, detailed

SOFTWARE QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST

 Position Summary:

The Quality Assurance Analyst is a mid-level role, physically located in Lafayette, IN at Radian Research’s Corporate Headquarters. This position is responsible for identifying and resolving quality issues in the WECO software products lines. The QA Analyst will follow existing test procedures and write new procedures, as applicable, as well as work with the Customer Support Team to confirm Customer reported defects and concerns. In addition, Quality Assurance Analyst works collaboratively with the Software Team to learn, train, and maintain the integrity of existing (and writing new) processes, procedures, test plans, etc. relating to the release of quality software products.

Responsibilities:

- Execute all phases of the QA cycle (e.g. requirements analysis, test case identification, test plan authoring, execution, defect tracking, status, and reporting of results).
- Create test cases, scenarios, and supporting data based on customer requirements and design documentation.
- Execute tests to validate that the software complies with standards and documented requirements.
- Perform Functional, Regression, Performance, System Integration, and User Acceptance testing based on customer requirements.
- Log and track defects from initial discovery to closure, working with developers to assess severity and impact.
